Search Results
Fields
You can filter your Product Search Results to show only the fields you want to see by clicking the check box on any or all of the following:
- TD Part Number
- Manufacturer Part Number
- UPC Code
- Product Status
Product Status
You can filter your search to show only the products with the following statuses by clicking the check box beside it:
- New
- Active
- Allocated
- Phased Out
- Discontinued
- Special Order
Items Per Page
You can also choose how many items per page you prefer to see by making a selection from the Items per Page drop down list.
Sort Results
You can choose how you would always like the search results sorted by selecting one of the following (Note: The current default is Relevancy):
- Relevancy
- TD Part Number
- Manufacturer Part Number
- Manufacturer Name
- Price
- Description
Promotions
If you're searching for product using the Category Search, you can choose to show or not show promotions by selecting one of the following:
- Include Promotions
- Exclude Promotions
Drop Ship
You can elect to include or exclude Drop Ship items (items shipped directly from the manufacturer) from your search results. You can also
have only Drop Ship items show in the results.
- View All
- In Stock inc Drop-Ship
- In Stock excl Drop-Ship
- Drop-Ship only
Partials
You can choose to have your "Keyword" search perform the search using partials or not by selecting the Enabled or Disabled options. If you
choose Enabled, the searches will always be performed with a wildcard at the end of what is input into the field. This will result in many
more products found that start with the text you input into the field. If you choose Disabled, the search will be performed only using the
exact text you enter into the search field.
In Stock
You can also choose to show only products that Tech Data has in stock by clicking the "In-stock Default" check box.
Order Inquiry Search Results
You can choose to see your order inquiry results in groups of 10, 20, 50 or all per page by making a selection from the drop down list.
Open Order Report
You can choose to view your Open Order Report results in groups of 5, 10, or all per page by making a selection from the drop down list.
Saved Order Results
You can choose to view your Saved Orders in groups of 10, 20, 50 or All per page.
Item Search
By selecting one of the following options from the drop down list, your default search selection will already be made for you when you go to the item search page.
- TD Part Numbers
- Multiple TD Part #s
- Mfr. Part Number
- Multiple Mfr. Part #s
- UPC Number
- Keyword Search
Account Information
Choose to view your login attempts, and last web orders if you are a main Administrator, on the account information page in groups of 10, 20, 50 or All per page.
Shopping Cart
As items are added to the shopping cart, the item that was added first will appear at the bottom of your shopping cart and subsequent items will follow such that your last item added is at the top. You can change this
to show the items in the order which they were entered.

Choose your default ordering options from the following:
- Blind Packaging
- Ship Complete
- Vendor Direct Rebates
- Default Email Format
- Default Ship-to sort
- Default Ship-to suffix
- Default Market
- Promotion Pricing Display
