Searching for products

Tech Data's Electronic Catalog enables you to search for products in a convenient format from every screen (after you log in) using our keyword search method, or you can use any of our other search options to further narrow your search. You can search using the following formats:

• Keyword Search enables you to display products based on any value entered in one text-field. You can search for the keyword you entered within all products, or by description, manufacturer part number, manufacturer name, Tech Data part number, or UPC number.
• New Category Search (using the tabs at the top) enables you to select from a list of subcategories within the category. One click on the subcategory brings you all items within that subcategory. You can further narrow down your search by clicking the attributes on the left side bar.
• Legacy Category Search enables you to select from a list of classes and then categories within the classes. You can also narrow down your search by specifying product status and promotions.
• Price and Availability enables you to enter one specific part number to display the details of that part, including the quantities available in each of our warehouses.
• TDAnywhere Search is similar to Keyword Search, but you can use text found on any web site as your search criteria.

All searches list products on the same Search Results screen, but each new search over-writes the results of the previous search.
